Food Revival wondered how we could help more people with the food we are saving from going to waste. We came up with putting together a family friendly box of food for collection once a week from our Market Hall.
Another innovative idea which has provided many meals for families in Leeds since we tried it out in November 2017.
See below how you can get Revival Food Boxes into your community.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
During the week we carefully select a balanced range of foodstuffs from the surplus food that we intercept from supermarkets and producers.
There is a charge, payable by standing order in advance, for the box.
You choose a day to collect, consider the value of what you have got and make an additional donation in our donations bucket.
Our amazing team of volunteers then make these in to crates filled with enough food for a family of four for one week.
We take into account any dietary requirements you tell us about.
Got a big family? Some of our Revival Food Box subscribers have two boxes a week, some have three!

HELP US TO SPREAD REVIVAL FOOD BOXES ACROSS LEEDS AND BRADFORD
Would you like to see Revival Food Boxes available in your community?
If you know of some premises where we could deliver Revival Boxes one day a week for collection by local families please let us know. We are looking for extra places where the boxes can be picked up across Leeds and Bradford. We would need a volunteer to co-ordinate the collections and if there is a fridge or freezer we can extend the types of food available.
Email us with your suggestions - we will be happy to look at how we can bring Food Revival
nearer to you.
